If Supplemental Language Support for complex script and right-to-left languages is enabled (Windows 2000 and XP), then the Arabic Series font installed with the program will not display. The Arabic Series has a proprietary system for displaying Iraqi and Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) within the program to compensate for a default installation of Windows' lack of support for displaying right-to-left fonts. We are current working on a fix for this issue.

Solution: Install the updated version 2.0 of the iraqi.ttf font.

1. Download iraqi.ttf (click here to begin download)

2. When prompted, save the file to your Desktop.

3. Click on "Start - Control Panel - Fonts"

4. In the Fonts dialog that appears, locate and select the Iraqi font (dated 4/9/96) from the list.

5. Click on the File menu and select delete.

6. Once you have deleted the font, click on the File menu again and select Install New Font.

7. Browse to your Desktop, locate the new iraqi.ttf file (dated 2/18/2004) and install it.

8. Launch the Arabic Series to confirm that the font is displaying correctly.
